Wild Basin Preserve Hike

Saturday evening, LuAnn wanted to go hiking. We took the boys to the Wild Basin Preserve which is a 225 acre expanse of untouched hill country. You are to stay on the hiking paths because, as the signs say, even the rocks are protected. It's a great hiking spot because you take a brisk walk for 10 minutes or wander around for a couple hours.

We took a little break at Overlook Point which allows you to see a vast portion of the preserve. The boys had a little water and snack before we made our way through the rest of the trails.

They convinced LuAnn to take a couple "silly" pictures. Tyler's understated look is priceless.
