A conversation this morning...

The scene opens with Danny and mommy (and Tyler) sitting at the kitchen table eating breakfast. Mommy stands up to settle Tyler down, who was getting ansty on her lap....

Danny: Sit, mommy, please. Sit.

Mommy: But Tyler doesn't want to sit. Maybe we should sing him a song. Which one should we sing?

Danny: ABCD!

Mommy: OK. (singing) A, B, C, D...

Danny: No....HIJK!

Mommy: But that's the same song.

Danny: No, mommy! Sing HIJK! Please!

Mommy: OK, OK! (singing...) um...H, I, J, K, LMNOP....uh...A, B, C, D, E, F, G?

Danny: [Sighs, shakes his head in apparent disappointment...] Oh, mommy.
