This past weekend we spent some quality time together and had a blast seeing my cousin Jessica and her husband Scott. They flew down to Houston to visit friends so it was a perfect opportunity to catch up with them. We'll have pictures from the visit a little later.
In the meantime, here are a few a random photos I think are worthy of sharing that we've taken in the last couple weeks. It seems like sometimes we get some great pictures and they end up on the computer with no one to see them but us. So, speaking of helping LuAnn out, I dropped the ball on Danny and forgot to change his diaper before AND after a nap recently. For those that don't know, Danny can probably drink a barrell of water a day. That resulted in a diaper giving its all in the fight to keep Danny dry...
Danny has started to enjoy playing outside more and more. Thankfully spring is around the corner and within a few weeks we'll be seeing 80 degree weather again. LuAnn took Danny to a park with his dump truck and they played in the sand volleyball courts. It was a big hit from what I hear. Danny's fascination with trucks, buses and big, big anything continues...
Finally, the end result of all the fun we try to have is Danny starting to rub his eyes, hum and moan to himself until...
I have to admit; one of my favorite parts of being a Dad are the days Danny gets so tired from playing or being out and about with us that he falls fast asleep in the car and I get to carry his peaceful little body to his room. I don't know what it is about a sleeping toddler but I love holding him when that happens. This picture doesn't show it but often Danny will throw his arms around my neck as he momentarily wakes up from getting out of the car. That semi-permanent hug is the best!
