Sorry we didn't get a post up on your birthday, babcia. But here's Danny after licking all the chocolate off of a "babcia cookie" in your honor! These cookies are actually called pierniczkis, but that's a bit on the advanced phonics side for Danny. The crazy thing is that we can get them -- and practically all of the great Polish cookies we love -- at our local HEB grocery store, which has a peculiar little Polish section at the end of the Mexican food aisle!
And here's Danny on his brand new trike! He helped us pick one out on Saturday (trying each one on for size). We planned on getting him one for his birthday but we had to shorten the timeline since he's been stealing his neighbors' trikes when they come over to the cull-du-sac to play. With our little angel quickly gaining the reputation of a bully, we had to do something!
We're off to Montana on Wednesday to meet up with the entire Christoffers clan again. Plenty of pictures to come, I'm sure. So if we don't get the chance to write before then....Happy Easter to all!
