Mommy's back!

No new pictures right now. Why? Because I was out of town and Mark was on blogging duty. I told him it was part of his responsibilities as the primary caregiver. We'll see if any pictures ever do pop up. So, yes, I was away from Danny overnight for the very first time ever! He and Mark handled it very well. I did, too, once I stopped sobbing in the car on the way to the airport (NOT kidding). And after about 3-4 phone calls a day to check up on them. But I had a lovely time singing in the Drake Choir Alumni Concert and freezing my pregnant butt off in Iowa. Oh, AND sleeping in until 7 AM -- yes, that's right, that's as late as I could force myself to sleep. I did get Danny a Drake shirt to show off his Bulldog pride since the men's basketball team is actually on the charts this year for the first time since bell bottoms came into existence.

Danny's ear tube surgery is rescheduled for Thursday. I've been sobbing about that, too. I know it's not supposed to be a big deal but my precious little baby boy is going to be unconscious on an operating table. (Granted, for only 10 minutes.) How can I not freak out just a little? So wish him the best and pray that I don't lose it and hyperventilate or something.
