We're back from Arizona -- and Danny's ear tube surgery is postponed so he gets to enjoy Valentine's Day at school and I get to catch up on work! We had such a great time, I wish we were still there. Danny loved having his babcia and dziadzia around (or, as he calls them, "baba and dada"). Some of Danny's highlights:
- Getting spoiled with lots of new clothes and lots of cookies that babcia would sneak me when mommy wasn't looking!
- Falling asleep with dziadzia rubbing my back. Why don't I get that kind of treatment from mommy and daddy at home?
- Swimming!
- Hiking in the desert and finding lots of rocks to throw around.
- Eating out and stopping for ice cream nearly every night! Mommy insisted we go to the Sugar Bowl in Old Town for big ice cream sundaes. Sometimes it's really nice having a pregnant mommy! But I deserved the treat after a very disappointing meal (for me) at Ra, a sushi bar that daddy loves. Now he knows: sushi isn't for everyone -- especially toddlers! Good thing mom had a Clif bar in her bag!
- Riding on a choo-choo and carousel at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park that we happened to come across on our way home one day. What a find!
- Riding the shuttle bus at the airport. Buses are still my passion!
