Danny and LuAnn are enjoying themselves in Minnesota and I've stayed behind for work reasons. In the past, I'd get excited about having the house to myself to watch horror movies that LuAnn can't stand and play my Xbox 360 games without disturbing anyone as I fight and blow up my way through an alien army.
As much as fun as that's been it hasn't been the same since Danny came into our life. The last few days I've come home, a part of me was looking for that cute smile to pop out from behind the couch and point at me. Yesterday I took LuAnn's car to work so that I could get new tires put on and everytime I looked in the rear view mirror, there was an empty car seat staring back at me. The good news is I haven't slept this well in almost a year so that counts for something, right?
Nope, I'll take the less than adequate sleep to see my little guy again. I'm flying up to Minnesota tomorrow and can't wait to see him.
Finally, for anyone who's missing the pictures, I'm bringing the camera cable with me so that LuAnn or I can put something on the blog. See ya in the land of 10,000 lakes...
