April Fool's!

Danny played his first April Fool's Day joke on Sunday. I went to put him down for his morning nap and then told Mark that I was going to take a shower. But instead, I went and got Danny again and let him loose in the hallway. He crawled around the corner, sat down and grinned at Mark. Mark was stunned for a moment before asking, "Danny...aren't you supposed to be taking a nap? And...How..Did...You...get out of your crib?" He picked him up and rounded the corner to find me rolling on the floor. It was a really good one. Just as good as April Fool's Day in college when my friend Meggin and I switched all of the clothes in Mark's dorm room closet with the clothes in his best friend's closet down the hallway! What made Sunday's plan even better was the escape route Danny and I set up in his room, as you can see from the security-blanket-escape-rope pictured above.

And here's Danny during one of his new favorite nightly rituals: standing at the door naked after his bath trying to avoid getting his diaper and pjs on.
