Our St. Patty's Day experience may have been a little too much for Danny. Well, not really. The poor guy seems to have caught a stomach bug and has not been feeling well all day. The good thing is that every little boy knows the best medicine for feeling yucky is... Mommy!
We've seen Danny laugh, bounce, crawl, attempt to launch himself off the couch and generally not sit still for very long. Today he's managed all of 30 minutes on the floor and hasn't played with a single toy.
LuAnn made a comment that is quite amazing when I think about it. You never want your child sick because you think about the headache and work involved of taking care of a sick child. However, we both find all we want to do is hold Danny and make it all better. There's no headache just heartache that we can't do anything but make him feel as comfortable as we can.
