For those of you sick with worry: we are fine here in Austin. The birds falling from the sky downtown haven't hit us here in the 'Burbs. The things that make national news these days! (
Click here to read CNN's version) Authorities still don't know why so many birds were dead in such an isolated area. But I think I know. On Monday, Danny and I were going to head downtown, to Congress Ave, to the heart of the affected area, to look at some shiny diamonds at Kruger's Jewelers. But, of course, that didn't happen because that one, little corner of the world was quarantined that day. Hmm. Mark's taking it as a sign from God that perhaps we should put such material possessions into perspective. This coming from a man with a TV bigger than our guest bathroom. Unfortunately for him, there are plenty of fine jewelers located OUTSIDE of the downtown area. Ha!
TEETH WATCH 2007 update: Danny's front teeth haven't come in yet. Which means my deadline of Jan. 7 has passed. The pedi hopes they come in during February so that it ends in a tie between me and Mark (who's going for March). She's such a peace-loving person!
