Welcome to 2007, everyone! Danny had a great time partying 'til 7 (his bedtime) with his new friend, the "Ice, Ice Baby" mouse. Amazing what adversities can be overcome when a little wine is involved (just kidding, of course). Anyway, Danny had a lot to celebrate because he told me that he thinks 2006 was his best year ever.
We've been a busy family these past few days, so it was lights out early for all of us. Especially after watching the crushing Bears defeat. Ouch! You know it's bad when the fans will boo their own quarterback off the field! So this morning, we drowned our sorrows and welcomed in 2007 with my mom's famous caramel rolls. Ah!!! Now the dieting can begin.
On Friday Mark and I got a very, very rare treat when our friend Jenny watched Danny so we could go out on the town. We had a knee-tremblingly great dinner at Wink. It was fabulous! Other than that, we've been out and about seeing friends and shopping. Here's Danny over at Allison's house for cookie-baking with his new friend Anna.
