It's raning, it's pouring...

It's finally raining! And the high today will be a "cool" 93 degrees! Danny and I went out onto the porch to watch the rain this morning and it kept him mesmerized for quite a while. The last time it rained, he was only a few days old.

He's been exceptionally tired this week and yesterday I finally figured out why: he's now taking everything in. He watches me eat and laughs while I fold laundry. He's fascinated by his own hand. Even different smells and sounds will make him uncomfortable (which makes going to restaurants an adventure). So by the end of the day, he's busy processing everything he learned. How exhausting! This picture shows him finally realizing that his tummy-time mat has a lot of great bells and whistles...water with "fish" floating in it, rattles and rings. He always ignored them before!
