Hope you had a Merry Christmas! We've been enjoying some much-needed family time. Although today Mark escaped and is off to Dallas for the
Blackhawks game. But I'm enjoying my time alone with the boys. Well, that is, as long as the boys are nice to each other. Now that Tyler's 18 months old, he's found that physical violence towards his brother really is as fun as Danny makes it look. And Danny is finding out that our threats about how Tyler's pent up aggression towards him will one day rear its ugly head...have come true. I have to say, I'm pretty slow in coming to Danny's rescue. He's been asking for it for a long, long time.
Anyway, here are some photos from Christmas...
Here are the boys enjoying a blessed Christmas Eve dinner at Rudy's Country Store & BBQ. Don't judge. We were on our way to Christmas Eve service at church and Danny was in rare form (not in a good way). So we decided to give the other
parishioners a break and just head out for some Texas BBQ. The sign in the background says, "Your mother is not here. Please clean up your messes."

The big gift from Santa this year was a tire swing! The boys LOVE it. Hopefully it will warm up a little so they can really enjoy it.

Our neighbors came over on Christmas Day for a pajama party brunch. Here's Tyler getting pretty cozy with Sarah.
