10 days until Tyler's first bithday. I can't believe it! The most amazing part: he took his first real steps today...while Mark and I were both with him. How cool is that? He walked to Mark and then walked back to me. And then he refused to do it again for the rest of the night. Still very wobbly, so I don't anticipate him waddling around the countryside anytime soon. But STILL.
Oh, and he says "nanas!" for bananas. His new favorite food....which he absolutely hated up until a couple weeks ago.
An update on Danny -- he broke out into extreme hives on Wednesday. They covered his body and were unbelievable itchy and horrible! Thank goodness for Benedryl. We visited the pedi (who swore it was virus related) AND allergist (who swore it was allergy related) with no real diagnosis in the end. But he took some steroids and is feeling much better. The hives were so bad that his little body is totally bruised all over from them. We got some bloodwork done tonight that will start us down the wonderful path of allergy testing. Just a little tired of the chronic excema, fluid in the ears and random attacks of hives. Not life threatening by any means, just really annoying. Will keep you all informed...
