On our way to a birthday party Saturday in our "old" neighborhood. We were about to make a righthand turn when two junior high-aged girls bolted across the street.
Danny: C'm on, girls. There's a car here.
Mommy: You tell 'em, Danny.
Danny: They're hot.
Mommy: [pause...] You mean they look warm?
Danny: Nooooo.... They're hot.
Mommy: Please don't tell me you mean they're cute.
Danny: Yeeeessss! They're cute!
OK, then. I suppose that's a drawback of him being moved into the class with the older kids? I'll tell you one thing. The boy is entertaining. Although I'm always afraid of what he'll say next.
