Eyes Wide Shut

I wouldn't call things normal in our house yet, not by a long shot actually but LuAnn feels like there is a glimmer of a schedule appearing with Tyler. Most of Tyler's cycle is the usual from a newborn: sleep, feed, sleep, poop, sleep. In between those events he finds time to let us know he's now a part of our house by squeaking a little cry. It sounds more like a Braveheart battlecary to me but maybe that's the headache talking. Thank goodness Marlyne is around though, it's been a tremendous help. Tyler seems to like it in grandma's lap.

For all the sleeping and feeding that Tyler is doing, he did decide to wake up for a little while and show us his big, beautiful, blue eyes. That makes it two for two on passing on one of LuAnn's best traits. The look on Tyler's face makes me wonder what he's thinking?

The biggest positive and happiest moments for LuAnn and I so far have been the actions of big brother Danny. He's been absolutely fantastic with Tyler. He loves to say "Hi, Baby" and brings him toys and a blanket. Danny even shared his precious puppy with Tyler; I almost fell off the couch when I saw that. The picture below is a little blurry but Danny decided to give his little brother a kiss on the nose. Danny liked it, Tyler still hasn't made up his mind about it.
