I know I haven't been updating the blog as much as Danny's grandparents (or the rest of you) would like. And, to be honest, I don't have any new pictures to post. So I figure the least I could do is post some information about the little guy. And it seems appropriate to do that now since Danny's definately is coming into his own lately, with a strong personality all his own. Here are some questions he answered for me...
1. Who can't you live without.
It would be a toss up between mom and puppy (my stuffed animal). Dad's pretty fun to have around, too. And I really love my teacher Heather.
2. When do you wake up in the morning?
Normally it's 5:15, but lately I've decided to indulge my mom and sleep until about 6:15. She never gets me until then anyway.
3. What's the first thing you do in the morning?
Grope for my puppy in the dark, bite his tail and make as much noise as I can until mom comes to get me. Then I make the sign for "milk" and throw a fit if she puts me down before I have that milk in my hand.
4. What's your favorite drink?
I really love milk and juice. Or, as I like to call it, "ssssssss." Even though I know that what mom calls "juice" is really just a tablespoon of juice mixed with lots of water. She thinks she's so sneaky.
5. What's your favorite food?
Scrambled eggs, fig bars, ravioli, pears, veggie burgers, salmon....there's really not a whole lot I don't like. Except Cheerios. I really have to be in the mood for those.
6. What's your favorite book?
Z is for Zamboni and My Truck is Stuck
7. What's your favorite song?
Proper Cup of Coffee by Trout Fishing in America or Willie Nelson singing Rainbow Connection
8. What's your favorite show?
Sunrise Earth on HDNet, Blues Clues (but only with Steve, because mom has a crush on him)
9. What's your favorite place?
Anyplace outside, especially Austin and Zach's garage (my neighbors) and the park (or, as I like to call it, "the pawk" --like I'm from Boston)
10. What are your strengths?
I'm really charming and I'll use that to my advantage a lot. I can throw balls pretty well and I'm a fast runner. I'm really good a taking my nap and going to bed (just not so good at sleeping in...)
11. What do you need to work on?
I get frustrated pretty easily and I'm always hungry.
12. What is your biggest accomplishment lately?
I can say and sign a lot of words, which makes it so much easier for mom and dad to understand me. I can climb onto the couch myself and I'm starting to get the whole spoon thing.
13. What's overrated?
Mom wants me to sit on my potty sometimes and I just don't get the point.
14. What's your favorite time of day?
When Daddy comes home and plays with me. That guy cracks me up. I also like it when mom makes me "hug it out" when I'm feeling frustrated or tired. It usually helps me feel a lot better. Then she tickles me. She's cruel.
