Happy Memorial Day

Wow! We've been busy. And it doesn't look like it's going to slow down anytime soon. I'm looking at going back to work part time in August -- so we've been touring daycare centers last week and more this week. Most, of course, have a waiting list. And the ones that don't, make me wonder, "Why not? What's wrong with you?!" The realization that someone else will soon be helping take care of Danny is making me very uneasy and I haven't been sleeping well! I know it'll be much harder for me than it will be for Danny.

My friend Allison had her baby on Saturday -- a boy named Graham. I'm sure he'll soon become a regular on the blog. And while Allison and Charles were busy having a baby, they missed a great Friday night dinner party at my friend Kris's house. Kris is expecting her third baby, so there was a nursery all set up for Danny to try out. He fell asleep like a champ at their house. But after we woke him up at midnight to head home, he wasn't so agreeable. He screamed until 2 am until finally zonking out. Lesson learned. Next time, we'll just leave him over there (kidding...). Above is a picture of Danny with his idol Ryan. I've noticed that Danny is most interested in hanging with "older" boys. Babies and toddlers his age don't interest him nearly as much.
