Leaving mom in the dust

Danny likes to..um..."help" mom with the dishes. It makes life interesting.

Now that Danny can't sit still -- not for a second -- we've finally come to the end of our mother and son yoga classes. I can't say I'm too disappointed. Even though we've made some friends over the past few months, it's been very hard keeping him happy for an hour and a half while I try to get any kind of meaningful workout at the same time!

So our classes will now focus on the most important one in the family: Danny. This week, we're trying out a Music Together class taught by folk rock/chamber musician Michael Shay. Our first class was this morning and I was very, very pleasantly surprised at how much Danny loved it. He really couldn't have cared less if I was there or not (THAT'S a first!). He just went off on his own sitting in front of Michael and watching him play his guitar, crawling up onto random moms' laps and chasing other kids around! It was really fun to watch. Plus, I wouldn't mind if Danny picked up a talent for music along the way!
