Danny and I have been having more fun on Saturday mornings now that he's becoming more interactive. LuAnn will tell you it helps that I get up in time to see him happy on Saturday mornings (she's right...). So, Saturday morning on the couch has taken on a new meaning.
This last Saturday was especially fun. It was Dr. Seuss' birthday so we took Danny to Barnes and Noble for story time and to celebrate the occasion. Danny wore his first birthday hat and really enjoyed listening to Green Eggs and Ham. Funny thing is, he could care less when LuAnn or I read it at home. Maybe I'll try standing up in front of him next time.
I felt inspired to try my own version of a Dr. Seuss rhyme but realized I'm not that creative. I'm going to stick with it and see if I can write enough to post here but you'll have to promise to laugh with me and not at me. :) So, no promises but you may find this post with an addition.
