The big news this week is that Danny's been having some trouble sleeping. Mostly, I think it's because at 3 1/2 months old, he has such little control over his environment...and he's beginning to notice that! He's constantly startled awake by his own limbs doing unexpected things. And between sleep cycles (which is unfortunately about every hour), he has a hard time falling back to sleep. But after a few nights of being up with him around the clock, I think he's making progress. He can now suck on his hands to calm himself down. The other day, he sucked so hard that he gave himself a big 'ol hicky! And when things don't go well, and we just can't take any more, there's always the swing, which he'll sleep in relatively peacefully. I've said this before and I'll say it again: The Fisher-Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium swing. Don't have a baby without it.
